Western Digital VelociRaptor WD4500HLHX

 The VelociRaptor WD450HLHX is a workstation grade hard drive from Western Digital. This drive is built for power users. At 10,000 RPM, 32 MB chace, and the SATA 600 interface this drives is very fast.

Built to be an internal drive the size is 2.5" but is enclosed in an enterprise class mounting frame with built-in heat sink to keep the unit cool. The WD4500HLX is a 450 GB drive that supports 6 Gb/s transfer rates. The drive is compatible with both Mac and PC but may require additional SATA interface cards to work. This drive is ROHS compliant which means that it follows strict environmental regulations to ensure the drive is "Green."
