Product Shot 1The Thecus N1200 is a compact network-attached storage device designed for use in a small office / home office (SOHO) environment. It can be configured with either a 2.5” or 3.5” SATA HDD, two USB flash drives, and an eSATA storage drive.

Plus, it sports 4 Ethernet LAN ports for connecting computers, but it is also 100% ready for a separately purchasable wireless USB dongle. Once hooked up, the N1200 can stream media to any DLNA-compatible device; share photos; distribute iTunes; and function as a central FTP repository for network data. It does lack a few niceties though, like support for an IP webcam or RAID configurations. But its simplicity serves as a benefit for at-home users; consider the web-based administration, which can be accessed from any browser off any operating system.
