eSATA and USB ports are also included for storage expansion, as well as USB printing. What really pushes the N0503 ComboNAS over the top, especially when compared to its competitors, is its wide-array of advanced features, including an Intel Atom processor (which isn’t common on a Thecus NAS), 1GB of RAM, and five available RAID configurations: 0, 1, 5, 6, and JBOD. This means that all the embedded server functions — iTunes, photo sharing, UPnP media streaming, FTP, etc. — can be utilized with top-notch speed. Plus, the whole unit can be easily managed from the web.
