The Pros:Very quiet - virtually silent. Synology Disk Station Manager software is frequently updated. Fully compatible with large-size hard drives - up to 2TB.
The Cons:Included software is not compatible with Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Underpowered hardware struggles with some of the more intensive applications like BitTorrent. Doesn't perform internal disk defrags.
