Synology DiskStation DS211+

The DiskStation DS211+ is a high-end network-attached storage solution from Synology. Targeting business users, the two-bay, hot-swappable server features very competitive read/write speeds of 108MB/s and 55MB/s, respectively, in RAID 1.

Complete backup support is standard, and the system includes a 256-bit encryption engine designed to reduce bandwidth load on the central CPU to maintain high transfer speeds. The DiskStation is designed to be easy to set up and manage, with an internet-based wizard for all main settings and operations. The operating system supports file sharing across Windows, Mac, and Linux substations, and for businesses with an online presence, the DS211+ supports web hosting (up to 30 sites). The DS211+ also supports camera surveillance management, mail serving, and printer sharing. The DS411+ is Synology's comparable four-bay model.
