Seagate Momentus 7200 FDE

The Seagate Momentus 7200 is a laptop hard drive that comes in 160 and 320 GB capacities.  This hardware targets corporate laptops, service and support laptops that contain critical customer data, and for personal laptops that contain sensitive information.

It can deliver up to 320 GB in secure digital storage using Seagate Secure Technology, designed to prevent data breaches due to loss or theft. The same technology also allows secure disposal and repurposing of drives. This machine allows for pre-boot authentication in the form of biometrics, passwords or smart cards. It has a 7200-RPM spindle speed (about the average speed in the market of reading data off the hard drive).  It has both 160 GB capacity and 320 GB. This piece is the loudest one of the 7200 series, and is as loud as the other ones from the 5400 series.
