Seagate Momentus 7200.3

The Seagate Momentus 7200.3 is a hard drive that comes in 80 to 320 GB capacities. It targets mainstream and performance laptops, workstations and small  form factor PCs. It comes equipped with G-Force protection for added robustness and durability allowing it to go unharmed when the laptop is dropped.

One of its selling points is low power consumption: it utilizes ramp load features which remove the head from the disk during idle periods, improving idle power consumption and adding to the durability of the drive. This piece compares quite well to the 5400 series offered by Seagate (Seagate Momentus 5400.6). It's more quiet than Seagate Momentus 7200 FDE in the same series.
