The Seagate BlackArmor NAS 440 and 420 are network-attached storage devices, available in capacities ranging from 2 TB to 8 TB, designed for small to medium-size businesses. Utilizing an ethernet interface, each model holds data and conducts automatic backups for up to 50 workstations.

The NAS 420 features 2TB of storage, with drives installed in two of four bays; the 440 is available in 4, 6, and 8-TB models, with all four bays filled. The drives are user-replaceable, and each model features four USB ports which enable printers and additional hard drives to be added to an office network. The NAS 440 and 420 also support DLNA media streaming and Microsoft Active Directory.
