After a free six months of this service, users have to pay a $30 annual fee. The manufacturer claims speeds up to 15MB/second on reads and writes. Physically, this flash drive features a sleek metal shell with a retractable USB interface. A ring is included so users can connect the flash drive to a keychain or lanyard. Bundled is SanDisk’s U3 LaunchPad software, an application suite that allows users to run programs from the USB drive without the risk leaving personal data behind. The SanDisk Ultra Cruzer Titanium Plus is only available in one capacity: 4GB.
