The casing is made out of metal with a clear “skin” overlay, while the cap is made of clear plastic as well. Storage capacity options include 2GB, 4GB and 8GB sizes. A red LED light illuminates when data is transferred to and from the device. This flash drive is compatible with high-speed USB 2.0 interfaces, but is also backwards compatible with USB 1.1 ports.     Washing machine proof - tested 3 times. Last time including fabric conditioner. The wee thing just refuses to die.
