Samsung Spinpoint F4

The Samsung Spinpoint F4 is a 3.5-inch desktop hard drive, released in mid-2010. This internal SATA 3 Gbps drive is designed to offer higher reliability and better performance in the 7200 RPM category.

Samsung accomplishes this with a single read/write head, which contrasts the traditional dual head design. This new design equals 70% fewer moving parts, and a speed increase of approximately 10% when compared to Samsung’s earlier 350GB internal drives.
