Each disk on the Spinpoint F3s has 500 GBs of storage capacity. The Spinpoint series has many of the same features as Samsung's EcoGreen series, but without EcoGreen's EcoTriangleTM technology, which ensures that eco-friendly components are being used. However, the Spinpoints are S.M.A.R.T. compliant as well as RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, which means they are still environmentally friendly. The NoiseGuard and SilentSeek technologies at work here ensure that the Spinpoints are also low-noise. The SATA native command queuing feature improves performance by optimizing command execution. There are three models in the F3 line, and they vary in storage capacity and buffer memory.
