Samsung SN-S083B/BEBN

The Samsung SN-S083B/BEBN is a slim, internal 8X DVD/CD writer specially made for use in desktop PCs. It is an upgrade from the SN-S083A/BEBN, in that it adds along Buffer-Under-Run Free Technology. During sessions of intense multitasking – during which a PC is accessing multiple components at once – this technology ensures that no unwanted buffer errors disturb the process.

Like its peer, it connects by SATA interface and supports both single-layered and dual-layered DVDs, as well as single-layered CDs. Included also are a myriad of advanced functions, such as SpeedPlus Power Technology for optimized writing & reading; S.A.T. technology for error-free writing; and OPC for zero-free recording. Note also that this use is environmentally friendly.
