The technology used includes a Liquid Crystal Tilt/Blur Compensator – built by Pioneer for more reliable writing and reading of low to medium quality discs. Note also that the unit comes with a variety of software from Nero, allowing users to create personal videos and photo slideshows, burn music CDs, and back up data. The only drawback to the Pioneer DVR-1910 is that it works strictly with Microsoft Office operating systems; it offers zero support for Macintosh systems.
