OCZ Throttle
$32.00
Released December, 2008
The Pros:Very affordable considering the price and speed. Very fast transfer speeds. Small.
The Cons:Requires a USB port for power - annoying and self-defeating. Poor for use with other computers - very few current machines offer eSATA. Doesn't offer oversized versions.
Announced on December 15th 2008, the OCZ Throttle is an eSATA based SSD flash drive that is rumored to be quite affordable. A good alternative to USB for faster transfer speeds, the Trottle will offer 90MB/s read speeds and 30MB/s write speeds.

8, 16 and 32GB models will be offered - with prices ranging from $32 to $160. Sadly this won't free up any of your valuable USB connections however, due to the fact that the eSATA interface doesn't provide power - meaning a USB slot will be used to provide juice to the drive.
