OCZ Solid 3

The OCZ Solid 3 is a MLC NAND solid state drive with up to 120GB capacity. It is a budget oriented addition to OCZ's existing SSD line up alongside the Vertex and Agility series. The Solid 3 is capable of read speeds up to 500MB/s and write speeds up to 450MB/s.

It uses a SandForce SF-2200 controller, providing high performance with 4KB random write of 20,000IOPS and good reliability with an MTBF of 2 million hours. Other features include native TRIM support, SATA II backwards compatibility, and a low power consumption of 2.7W during use. The OCZ Solid 3 is one of few solid state drives that offers SATA 6Gbps interface at this price segment.
