OCZ RevoDrive Hybrid

The OCZ RevoDrive Hybrid is a high performance solid state drive and hard disk drive combination, presented in a single unit, devised for reads and writes for both on a single PCI Express card. Building off of the same SSD technology as its co-release, the RevoDrive 3 x2, the Hybrid is capable of using multiple SandForce SF-2200 controllers arranged in a RAID o array to provide a cache for the attached hard disk.

Utilizing Dataplex software from Nvelo that is capable of working with up to 120 GB of solid state storage, the Hybrid promises speeds of 575 MB/s reading, and 500 MB/s writing. Offered in a variety of capacities to suit need and budget, the base model includes a 500 GB HDD, and 60 GB SSD, while the premium model doubles those numbers.
