Lite-On iHAS422

The Lite-On iHAS324 is an internal DVD/CD writer & rewriter with LightScribe technology. This unique technology allows users to burn images and labels directly onto the disc; it helps better organize one’s photos, music, and everyday information.

Another noteworthy engineering feat sported by the unit is SmartErase, which allows for two types of disk writing: partial and full. The partial only taps into the disc’s lead-in data, thereby leaving the rest available for later recovery. As for the full, it overwrites the entire disc. Other significant features of the Lite-On iHAS422 include support for both single- and dual-layer discs, compatibility with 8mm and 12mm discs, and SMART-BURN technology, built specifically to eradicate unwanted buffer-over-run errors.
