Lite-On iHAS322

The Lite-On iHAS322 is a lower-end DVD/CD writer & rewriter. Like its peers, the iHAS120 and iHAS122, it also lacks LightScribe. However, this unit does feature SmartErase, a unique function that allows for either a Quick or Full Erase.

Quick erase erases only data stored in the lead-in – thereby allowing some data to later be recovered – whereas Full Erase overwrites the complete disc. Like its predecessors, the iHAS322 also hosts SMART-BURN for error-free writing; SMART-X for faster data extraction; and an ABS system, which works to reduce unwanted vibration and noise during recording & reading. Note also the unit’s flexibility, as it handles single/dual layer discs, as well as 12mm (standard) and 8mm (mini) discs as well.
