The Lite-On DH-20A4P is an internal DVD/CD writer & rewriter built as an upgrade from the DH-20A4H. It adds along SMART-WRITE, a self-learning function that automatically detects and then chooses an optimal writing strategy.

As well as simplifying the writing process, it ensures DVDs and CDs are both written correctly without unnecessary errors. Like its peer, it connects via a Serial ATA interface and includes a plethora of enhanced functionalities: LightScribe (disc-labeling), SMART-X (faster data-extraction), and ABS (reduced vibration/noise). Plus, it also supports both single- and dual-layer discs, as well as 8/12cm sizes.
