LG N4B1
$750.00
Released March, 2009
The Pros:RAID5 means a drive can fail and you don't lose data! Up to 4 SATA HDDs in RAID5 or independent configurations. Large capacity.
The Cons:High MSRP. Blu-ray writer will make it very expensive. From what i am hearing this will be around £600.

Also included is a memory card reader, three USB ports, one Ethernet port and one e-SATA port for additional expansion. The N4B1 is capable of automatically archiving data to Blu-ray disc for offsite storage. This NAS is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems due to its web-based interface, which is used for configuration and management. By default, the N4B1 is configured as a RAID 5 device, but can also utilize hard drives independently so they can be hot swapped when needed. The LG N4BI also makes it possible to share a single Blu-ray, DVD or CD by creating a disc image that can be accessed by all users on a network.
