Lexar Echo ZX

$44.99 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1The Lexar Echo ZX is a tiny, plug-and-stay USB backup drive designed for ‘no-touch,’ continuous backups from a desktop or laptop computer. It’s a lot like the MX, except it’s smaller, it offers lower capacities up to 32GB, and it offers slightly slower read and write speeds up to 28MB/s and 15MB/s, respectively.

Like its counterpart, it is designed to be plugged into a laptop, setup with AES encryption, and then left to run continuously. Unfortunately it doesn’t inherit its peer’s capacity meter. It is however also compatible with both Macintosh and Windows PCs. Plus it comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
