The LaCie Portable DVD+/-RW is a compact, external DVD Rewriter that comes in two versions. The only difference between the two is the cheaper uses USB 2.0 and the more expensive uses Firewire 400 to connect to your computer.

Lightscribe is a unique feature which, when using appropriate Lightscribe media, allows you to flip the disc over and burn an image into the top using the the drive's laser. Detailed images can take up to 20-30 minutes to burn whereas simple titles take just a few. The overall design is by Sam Hecht in a slim chocolate brown mirror-gloss finish. Windows and Mac software is included(compatible with windows Vista). Dual USB or Firewire ports are included on both versions which allow for the connection of another device to the drive. An AC power adapter is included, however it can also run on just USB/Firewire.
