LaCie Network Space

The LaCie Network Space is a mid-range, media-centric network storage device, aimed at home rather than business use, and available in capacities of 500 GB and 1 TB. Gigabit Ethernet enables all computers on a network to share and back up files, with remote access from anywhere with an internet connection via FTP.

The Network Space can also stream multimedia to UPnP devices like game consoles, and stream music from an iTunes library via an integrated iTunes server. Another hard drive can be connected for more storage space thanks to a USB port, which also allows pictures on a digital camera to be uploaded directly to the network. The Network Space is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
