The LaCie Network Space 2 is a network-attached storage (NAS) media server designed by Neil Poulton and released as a step-up from the original Network Space. The Space 2 is identical to the original Space, save for a few new features: integrated torrent support for non-copyrighted downloads, and the ability to configure automatic power-downs/power-ups based on time of day.

Like its predecessor, the unit can serve as either an external drive (via USB) or a NAS server (via Ethernet) with UPnP, DLNA, and iTunes media streaming.
