Infinitec Infinite USB Memory (IUM) Drive

The Infinitec Infinite USB Memory (IUM) Drive is a USB-based, dual-WiFi device designed to allow a user to share their entire hard drive without running back and forth between PCs. The IUM isn’t actually a storage device, as it contains no memory.

It instead connects two PCs over an ad hoc WiFi network, thereby allowing content to be shared between the two computers—ergo “dual WiFi.” One PC is ‘paired,’ in that it will be the host computer whose files will be shared. Then the IUM is plugged into another device (any device with USB & Internet connectivity, in theory), after which that device can access the host’s files.
