Hitachi Ultrastar C10K300

The Hitachi Ultrastar C10K300 is a 2.5" internal hard drive from Hitachi's flagship Ultrastar series and is a step up from the C10K147.  The hard drive is designed to provide the reliability required for high-performance computing and mission-critical environments.

  It features Advanced Power Management technology with multi-state idle modes, allowing it to consume 65% less power than 3.5" drives.

The Ultrastar C10K300 is available in 147GB and 300GB capacities and utilizes an ultra-fast 6Gb/s Serial-Attached SCSI interface for better reliability and availability.  It spins at 10,000 RPM and includes a 64MB cache buffer for fast read/write speeds.  The drive also offers numerous features to guarantee reliable performance including Rotational Vibration Safeguard which ensures drive performance in multi-drive systems and end-to-end data protection for improved error detection.  The Ultrastar C10K300 comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
