Hitachi Ultrastar C10K147

The Hitachi Ultrastar C10K147 is a 2.5" internal hard drive from Hitachi's flagship Ultrastar series.  The hard drive is designed compact in size to meet space and power efficiency requirements while providing high performance and reliability for real-time server environments.

  It spins at 10,000 RPM to provide fast access to the stored data and has 16MB cache for better read/write response times.

The Ultrastar C10K147 is available in 147GB and 73GB capacities and utilizes a 3Gb/s Serial-Attached SCSI interface.  It offers numerous features to guarantee reliable performance including Rotational Vibration Safeguard which ensures drive performance in multi-drive systems and end-to-end data protection for improved error detection.  The drive is also one of the few in its class to offer a head load/unload ramp to minimize drive failures.  The Ultrastar C10K147 comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
