  It spins at 15,000 RPM to provide fast access to the stored data and has 16MB cache for better read/write response times.

The Ultrastar 15K300 is available in 300GB, 147GB, and 73GB capacities in Ultra320 SCSI, 3Gb/s Serial-Attached SCSI, and 4Gb/s Fiber Channel interfaces for flexibility.  It offers numerous features to guarantee reliable performance including Rotational Vibration Safeguard which ensures drive performance in multi-drive systems and end-to-end data protection for improved error detection.  The drive is also one of the few in its class to offer a head load/unload ramp to minimize drive failures.  The Ultrastar 15K300 comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
