Hitachi Travelstar 7K200

The Hitachi Travelstar 7K200 is a high-capacity, high-performance notebook hard drive that fits near the top of Hitachi's Travelstar line of hard drives. This hard drive is capable of up to a 876 MB/s media transfer rate with a 16 MB cache buffer.

  This 2.5 inch drive is available in 80, 100, 120, 160 and 200 GB models, all of which spin at 7200 RPM. To increase reliability, it is capable of handing a 350G operating shock and 1000G non-operating shock, and features Thermal Fly-height Control and TruTrack Technology for a better soft error rate and tracking accuracy in high shock or vibration environments.  The quiet acoustics allow for a better audio-listening environment when watching movies or playing games. Other features include a SATA 3 Gb/s & 1.5 Gb/s high data throughput, and optional bulk data encryption.
