Hitachi Deskstar P7K500

The Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 is a 3.5" internal hard drive from Hitachi's mid-range Deskstar series.  The hard drive is designed to provide high performance and power efficiency making it suitable for consumer and commercial use.

  It includes Advanced Power Management and HIVERT technology that reduces its operational power up to 40% compared to previous generation drives.

The Deskstar P7K500 is available in capacities up to 500GB and utilizes a 3Gb/s SATA or PATA-133 interface for configuration flexibility.  It includes a 16MB cache buffer for fast data processing and offers numerous reliability features such as ECC and CRC protection and an internal thermal sensor.  The Deskstar P7K500 comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
