The Hitachi CinemaStar C5K750 is a 2.5” disc drive featuring 375GB per platter. Designed especially for professionals seeking to offer a/v recording and playback functionality in smaller form factor devices, the C5K750 uses an Advanced Format that ups the physical sector size on each drive from 512 bytes to 4096 bytes.

This enhancement of storage surface area utilization allows for larger drive capacities and improved data integrity. Like its higher-capacity peer, the 5K200, the CinemaStar C5K750 offers a low power consumption rate of 1.5W maximum during read/write operations, and a low sound level no higher than 2.3 bels when idle.
