The CinemaStar 7K1000.B uses HiVERT technology to increase power efficiency and lower thermal emissions for cooler usage and longer product life. The HDD is equipped with silent-seek acoustics for quiet operation, Hitachi's load/unload ramp mechanism to prevent disk wear and perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) technology for reliability, stability and data integrity.
