The major difference with the Explore version is the ability to geotag all of your photos taken. It uses the Skyhook wireless service, which is the same service used by the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The service determines your position based on the Wi-Fi hotspot you're acessing. The Eye-Fi Explore uses Wayport to access Wi-Fi hotspots and comes with free hotspot access for 1 year.
