Product Shot 1The D-Link DNS-343 is a 4-bay network storage enclosure that builds from the DNS-321 by adding along two additional 3.5” SATA bays, a USB interface for attaching a printer or UPS device, and an LED display for monitoring the server status.

Like its predecessor, the DNS-343 connects to a network via an integrated Gigabit LAN interface, after which its its built-in UPnP AV media server can be used to stream digital content to any compatible network media players; its built-in FTP server can be used to allow remote file access over the Internet; and its included backup software can be used to setup real-time full of incremental backups from any network PC, regardless of the operating system. The unit can also be configured with one of four RAID settings: Standard, JBOD, 0, or 1.
