Otherwise it shares the same hardware design with MLC NAND flash memory, 15000G Ultra-shock resistance while operating and the ability to run in temperatures between 0°C to 70°C. As with most SSD's it has a long estimated life span, although less than the Eagle Series which is rated over 2 million hours, the Pelican has a 1.3+ million hour life expectancy. The Pelican Elite Series features much faster read/write speeds although no USB, making it better for professional applications and gaming albeit with no external usability.
