Product Shot 1The LinkStation Pro LS-VL is a network storage device from the Buffalo company. Available in both 1 and 2-terabyte denominations, this model enables wireless data caching across a single home network for simplistic access of remote files.

Transfer speeds up to 76 megabits-per-second are available through the inclusion of a 1.6GHz processor, with direct connectivity provided via USB 2.0. NovaBACKUP Professional software is included for one-step archiving of Windows PC content, with Time Machine support covering all Apple computers. DLNA certification provides native streaming of audio and video content to all compatible monitors and media players, with a free WebAccess application available for content playback on Apple iDevices. In addition, the Pro LS-VL features an integrated BitTorrent client (uTorrent) for direct file downloading to the device. In effort to promote eco-concious values, Buffalo has also incorporated power savings function that can be configured to turn the LinkStation on and off at specific times throughout the day.
