Asus BW-12D1S-U

The BW-12D1S-U is a an optical disc drive from the Asus company. Optimized for Blu-Ray disc production, this model is capable of achieving 12x writing speeds in full 1080p HD. USB 3.0 connectivity is available for high-speed data transfer, with standard USB 2.0 also provided for use with older machines.

The drive includes CyberLink's PowerDVD 10 software suite for full-fledged video content assembly, with Magic Cinema upscaling technology offering real-time 2D-to-3D up-conversion at the press of a single button. Both Dolby Digital EX and DTS-HD are supported in terms of audio outputting, helping to maximize sound quality via lossless pass-through processing.
