Released in July 2009, this is currently the mid-level internal SSD being sold by A-DATA next to their 300 and 700 Series, not including their Intel X25-M based drive. Low power usage and quick start times are a benefit of using SSD drives as well as a major increase in overall speed and lifespan over conventional HDD drives. This is a major update over earlier 500 Series drives which only had a read/write speed of 100MB/s and 90MB/s respectively(the original model number is S591). RAID 0 mode is also supported with the ability to run multiple drives together as one large drive with next to no latency or overheating.
